This craft show is a fundraiser to support the Missionettes ministry and the Gravity Youth Group at the House of Joy Church. 

All our booth space has been filled. We have a wide variety of exhibitors with high quality craft items. 

The application deadline is October 25, 2003.  First, read the application information sheet below and then you can print the application form 2 different ways: 
          1. Open the MicroSoft Word document file and print the application form   or 
          2. Go to the application page on our website and print the form
              using your browser's file, print feature.
Complete the form and mail it with the booth fee.  Please make checks payable to: House of Joy Church.

Exhibitors..... please help us promote the Joy of Crafts Show!  Here is a flyer that you can print and give out to further our advertising.  Click on the flyer hyperlink to open a MS Word file that you can print.  There are 2 flyers on each sheet you print.  There are many businesses that have a community bulletin board or that don't mind putting a flyer in the window, if asked.  Put up a flyer in your church, tell your kids' school teachers, and tell your neighbors.  Let's invite as many people as possible, so we will have many shoppers all day long!  Thank you.

Features

  • Craft Show web page features an optional profile on each exhibitor with photo (if sent in with application).  Go to Gallery of Exhibitors web page.

  • Advertising promoting the Joy of Crafts Show done prior to show date.

  • High visibility location.  Two blocks north of I-240 on S. Walker Avenue.

  • Exhibitors may setup Friday from 6:00–8:00 p.m. or Saturday from 7:00-8:45 a.m.

  • Our church is praying a special blessing that the vendors at the Joy of Crafts Show will have a very profitable day.  We appreciate their willingness to help us with this fundraiser.

 Criteria

  • All crafts must be first quality and skillfully created.

  • No food booths allowed.  We will provide a concession area.

  • No weapons, witch, alcoholic or obscene items.  We reserve the right to limit items sold.

  • There is a new Oklahoma tax law requiring the promoter of a craft show to purchase a Oklahoma Sales Tax Permit.  Also, each vendor at a special event who does not have a valid Oklahoma Sales Tax Permit is required to submit daily to the event promoter: (1) a Vendor Daily Sales Tax Report and (2) full payment of sales tax collected. 

 Booth fees

$30 for 8 ft x 10 ft booth/$35 for 8 ft x 10 ft booth with electricity.

$20 for 4 ft x 8 ft booth/$25 for 4 ft x 8 ft booth with electricity.

One table and 2 chairs will be provided with each booth.

 Application Procedure

  • Fill out application form completely, sign and return. 

  • Complete exhibitor profile to be included in the program.  (We retain editorial rights.)

  • Send in photograph of your work to be included on the web page.  Photos will not be returned.  You may e-mail photos if you prefer.

  • Mail applications with payment to Sherry c/o House of Joy Church, 7200 S. Walker Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK  73139.
