God is now raising up a number of men
and women of God with “A MESSAGE” for our time. They do
not have “THE MESSAGE” or “ALL THE MESSAGE” but they have
“A MESSAGE.”
God has given House of Joy “A
MESSAGE OF JOY” to bring to the earth. The angels
announced tidings of great joy on the eve of Jesus birth.
Joy is the birthright of every Christian. Religious
traditions and false teachings have robbed the joy from
most of the church. God is sending House of Joy Church to
announce the tidings of joy again and expose the false
teachings that have stolen it.
The message of joy in its
most basic form is this:
Jesus promised joy to all who maintain an intimate
and obedient relationship with Him. That joy is not
based upon circumstances but purely upon becoming one
with Jesus. (John 14 - 16) This joyous intimate
relationship produces many benefits including answered
prayer, physical healing, deliverance and financial
prosperity. Though these are not the foundational basis
for joy they certainly increase the joy.
The Scripture uses the analogy of a joyful husband
and wife relationship to illustrate the union between
Jesus and his redeemed bride. Out of this union come the
fruits of a godly character and gracious gifts. As the
redeemed bride responds to the love of Jesus in greater
devotion, honor and obedience, He responds with even
greater displays of His love.
This loving relationship will of necessity be tested
for its purity. The tests will prove the depth of the
love.
The “Joy Message” has several powerful results. First it helps people
evaluate their belief system and align it with the “Joy
Message.” Any belief that compromises the “Joy Message”
has to be discarded. Though there is a time for sadness
and mourning, scripture indicates it should be of short
duration. “Joy comes in the morning.”
True joy is not based upon circumstances. It is usually birthed in the
midst of turmoil. Paul and Silas had joy in the Philippian
Jail (Acts 16:16ff), but God did not leave them there.
Their joy was increased when God brought about their
release and the salvation of the jailor. True joy is based
entirely upon faith; the greater the faith, the greater
the joy.
Second, the “Joy Message” requires a big adjustment in the relationship
with authority. There can be no joy without proper
relationship with authorities. Understanding God’s
placement and empowerment of authority requires us to give
special honor to those God raises up to be authorities in
our lives. We must honor them as true messengers of
Christ.
Third, the “Joy Message” brings about a new understanding of worship.
There is a rediscovery of the joyful worship prescribed by
God in the Old Testament (Deut. 12) and practiced by King
David. (2 Samuel 6) This celebrative worship is not
entirely based upon what we have already received from
God. It is also based upon our faith in a God who is
seeking ways to give us all things. (Romans 8:32)
Fourth, the “Joy Message” requires a new understanding of wealth and
prosperity. A wealthy husband will shower his loving bride
with an abundance of gifts. She, in return will give gifts
to her lover. So it is in our relationship with Jesus. He
gives us gifts and we give gifts to him. As our love
relationship intensifies the gifts become larger and
larger on his part and we have an ability to give all we
have to him.
As churches adopt the “Message of Joy,” they will become places of
great joy. Joyful celebration will increase the presence
of Jesus in the church bringing about healing and
deliverance to all. An anointing for wealth will be
released that will cause many to prosper abundantly.
God has appointed House of Joy
Church to share the “Message of Joy.” We see ourselves as
“Missionaries of Joy.” We share the “Message of Joy” in
our church. We will share it in other churches by
invitation. We will share it by all technological means at
our disposal.
