HOJC Account Rules |
If you are an attendee of the House of Joy Church, you can have a Free E-mail account and Personal Web page. You may also get an account to use the church computers to browse the internet.
To receive an HOJC account, please read the following rules, then if you agree to follow the rules, click "I agree" and fill out the HOJC form. Submit the form, print it out, get the necessary signatures on the form, and put the signed form in the HOJC offering basket or give to someone in the Helps ministry.
General Rule
In order to provide its customers quality services, the House of Joy Church (HOJC) requires that all Account Users adhere to the guidelines, policies, terms and conditions as described herein. HOJC reserves the right to change, amend or modify these guidelines, from time to time, without any prior notice to the Account user. By establishing an account and becoming a HOJC Account User you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to adhere to this acceptable use policy. In addition, you also recognize that failure to comply with these regulations may result in the termination of your account and services at any time with or without notice. Your use and/or continued use of the services and maintenance of your account shall be deemed an acceptance of this Acceptable Use Policy and any modification that may be amended thereafter.
Attendance
In the event of non-attendance (subject to HOJC Pastoral Staff review) at the HOJC church, your e-mail account will be notified and you will be given 1 week to remove e-mail and webpages. At the end of that week, your account will be terminated and your webpages will be deleted without further notice.
I agree that I will not
Send unsolicited mail messages, including the sending of "junk mail" or other advertising material to individuals who did not specifically request such material.
Harass through language, frequency, or size
Use unauthorized or forging of email header information
Create or forward "chain letters"
Transmit or contact to Receive material that is not "Christ minded" such as but not limited to Sex, Porn, Gossip, or fraudulent or illegal messages
Allow any other user to use my HOJC account
Allow my forwarded e-mail to go to an unactive account
I agree that I will not
Author and/or Post any and all copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets and other proprietary rights and laws protect all content and materials without HOJC web staff approval.
Author and/or Post Personal information not approved by HOJC Pastoral Staff (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
Author and/or Post any and all page content that is not "Christ minded". All page content will be approved by the HOJC web staff.
Author and/or Post any links over 5. (Because URL's (the link to that page) change over time and some links that were approved for "Christ mindedness" changed to Porn sites, the HOJC web staff checks links monthly. Because of the amount of HOJC Personal Web Pages, the number of sites are limited to facilitate this problem.)
Author and/or Post Company advertising sold for placement for marketing purposes
Collect information of "Hits" made on your Personal Web page used for any purpose that is not approved by the HOJC pastoral staff. All pages will have a link to the "collection of personal information notification" page.
Author and/or Post any page that does not contain a link to the HOJC website.
Author and/or Post any other user's or non-user content. Each user must obtain their own HOJC account and be solely responsible for the information and electronic communications content that you create.
Post commercial software, hacking utility software or computer viruses
Write or post any fraudulent or illegal messages as part of HOJC-related electronic communications medium
