Personal Comment From Dona M.: Vickie, seeing you up singing and worshiping God is a real blessing to me. Many of our HOJC Worship team are younger than I am, so when I see them jumping around and turning, I think, well, they are younger and don't have arthritis, etc. But I have seen you jump and turn just as they do as well as worship the Lord and I have also seen how slowly you walk up the stairs (just like me). Your example gives me faith that God will work miracles in my life as He is doing in yours. I heard the other day that the "word of knowledge" that was given about melting pounds was coming true. I just praise God that He is faithful to His living word as well as His written word. I always look forward talking to you because you have a great deal of wisdom.
Public Comment from Dona M: Many times youth despise people that are getting older, but I see for you a unique ministry where you will create your own place and set everyone to wonder at God's work through you. Do not be discouraged! Jesus, our healer, is by your side. Rejoice as He heals you of all infirmities and renews the working of your mind. The things you have gone through will not end if failure like the devil has determined, but God, who creates anew, is re-creating you again and giving you a new determination to do what He plans for you. You may go through some rough seas, but He says, "Stretch out your hand" and He, our savior, will keep you from sinking through the tough times and lift you above the turmoil. Trust in Him for He alone is our help and redeemer.
